How is entitlement calculated?

5.6 weeks × days worked per week, capped at 28 days. A 3-day week earns 16.8 days; a 5- or 6-day week caps at 28.

What about irregular-hours staff?

They accrue 12.07% of hours worked — the method restored by the 2024 regulations for irregular-hours and part-year workers.

Can bank holidays be included?

Yes — the statutory minimum can include bank holidays; it’s the contract that decides whether they’re on top.
